Google.org invites applications to its $25m Impact Challenge for Women and Girls

Google.org, the firm’s philanthropic arm, has announced a $25 million grant to non-profits and social organizations working to empower women and girls around the world.

Google has announced a $25 million grant to Empower Women and Girls.

The initiative aims to overcome social inequalities and inequities such that women have access to economic equity, financial freedom. Its website is written: "Gender inequity is one of the most urgent challenges we face as a society, and COVID-19 has put the economic future of so many women and girls at even greater risk. This challenge will grant $25 million to fund organizations creating pathways to prosperity for women and girls, which builds on $55 million we've committed over the last five years to organizations working on similar causes."
