Therefore, Sunlight has partnered with Lionesses of Africa to actively support women entrepreneurs in their quest of becoming unstoppable business owners. To help them dismantle the psychological and structural barriers and move their businesses from barely surviving to thriving.
We are proud to launch the Sunlight x Lionesses of Africa Start-Up Accelerator. A free 12 week business and mentorship programme that will empower women entrepreneurs with business tools, business coaching and mentorship experiences and help women advance their businesses.
Through this start-up accelerator programme, women entrepreneurs will have access to a large network of experienced female business owners, professional business coaching and peer to peer network training giving them the solid foundation to grow their business further.
Together with Lionesses of Africa; our mission is to drive large sale change so that Africa’s women entrepreneurs can achieve their start-up dreams
The Start-up Accelerator programme will take on 300 candidates and will be done virtually.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have been running business for minimum a year
Applicants must be the business owner
Applicants must be older than 21 years of age
Applicants must be digitally connected with access to internet and data
Applicants must be committed to growing the business
Applicants must be prepared to make a formal commitment to undertaking and completing the programme
Applicants must be committed to learning, and expanding their knowledge and expertise
Applicants must have sound knowledge of their business/industry sector
Preference given to female-owned and led business
Preference given to black-owned business, but all may apply
Preference given to South African citizens and permanent residents
