AURA secures R62 (US$4 million) million in a successful Series A funding round led by MultiChoice Group, Buffet Investments and KLT Holdings.

South African digital bank TymeBank has raised R1.6 billion (around $109 million) from new investors from the UK and Philippines to bolster TymeBank’s growth and secure its path to commercial success.

South Africa-based fintech group Adumo, has received $15 million from IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, and the IFC Financial Institutions Growth Fund, to help to increase access to digital payment solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in several countries in Africa.
